Woo and plate setter question

Just got woo. Trying to cook raised indirect with plate setter. After a few failed attempts, I assume the plate setter legs need to be down in order to set the woo on top?
Here is a pic of the setup. I'm all ears if there is a better way.

Here's a picture off the CGS website of the plate setter (legs up) slid into the PSWoo. That's the way I use it. Configured like the picture, you can remove the Woo, plate setter, and grate as a package.

Also, the picture shows a Woo3, I think, with the spider attached. Ignore the spider ... the plate setter rests on the three loops welded to the bottom ring!
