First Mickey's Rub, ribeye, and baby backs

Made my first batch of Mickey's today. Couldn't resist adding some onion powder and some cayenne... I cannot imagine a rub without either... So I guess it's not authentic. Dusted up a 2" ribeye and two racks of baby backs. The ribeye went off tonight utilizing reverse sear method to a perfect medium rare (notice the medium rare from sear to sear) and ribs are for tomorrow's football orgy. REALLY GOOD!!! Can't believe I just tried this.

Started the ribs that sat overnight in my modified Mickey's coffee rub about two hours ago. Loaded the egg with FOGO (which I love by the way), some soaked apple chunks, and a drip pan full of a local IPA. I've been keep the egg at approx 225-235. I am planning on FTC'ing and bringing to a buddies house for the games where I will probably blast and sauce them on his gasser.South Florida - Large BGE (DOB: 12/07/2013)
