Baking steel on plate setter

I made pizza on baking steel resting on grid with plate setter underneath with feet up. The pizza was ok the crust was a little burnt and the cheese just barely melted. Does the baking steel work better resting on plate setter with the feet down and no grid?

Definitely need a space between the plate setter and the baking steel. You may still need to raise the steel higher to get it closer to the dome.
