Reminds me of an old Drew Carey joke:
I came home and saw a snail on my doorstep, so I kicked it off into the bushes next to the porch.
3 years later, the snail is back. It looks up at me and says: "What was that for?"

BBQ is a celebration of culture in America. It is the closest thing we have to the wines and cheeses of Europe.
Drive a few hundred miles in any direction, and the experience changes dramatically.

It is a long story.... Back in 2011 I purchased the egg only. I told the dealer I wanted to keep it in the box because with my job I was unsure about my location. So as life would have it that went on for another year. At this time I was going to build my own table. But I was doing a search on the web and found a location that sold them for a very reasonable price. Now that i to pick it up... I made arraignments with some friends of mine in the area to pickup the table and that was back in late 2012. Now fast forward Summer 2014 and another job later..we are back in our home in south Alabama. Been waiting of the weather to get right to stain the table... Yes it has been a long time for my egg... But man it was much worth the wait... I have done ribeye, turkey breast... This New Year's Eve I have plans for prime rib... Any suggestions on rubs and too inject or not to inject? From East LA... Great story! Funny how we have "plans" and then...life happens. As for the Prime I'd go indirect around 325℉-375℉ (@cazzy had a thread and it turned out phenomenal) with an APL herb bath while cooking and a board sauce when slicing. Enjoy the journey and good to have you aboard. Better late than never >:)LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL
