Found a new place to buy meat. If you are in the north west GA area and a decent driving distance to Calhoun, this place rocks.

It's the kind of place where the furry face in the pen next door could well be in the freezer next week. Or as my buddy said, "There's $hit lined up waiting to be killed outside."

The selection is great from frog legs, duck, rabbit to standard beef and pork cuts on hand. The prices were also much better that what I'm paying local. Pork belly for 2.29, brisket for 3.99.

Best part was the guy I was dealing with asked me how I was going to cook the rib eyes, was knowledgable about reverse sear, etc... Started talking making home made bacon and brought up dry aging steaks. I said I was a little nervous dropping the coin on meat to age. He replied he is going to try when he gets settled in his new house and will follow up with me how it goes. Great experience talking with some one who enjoys the things we do. I'm going back for sure.

For all of you who are out of range, sorry but I had to share for my fellow NGA rednecks.

That place sounds great, I wish I was a little more in a rural area, but at least I have Rest Depot. I like the way your buddy put it "there's$hit lined up waiting to be killed outside".
