That's funny. You make it out like GA is a bad place. We had some good times fishing on the Chattahoochee river and camping in FDR State Park when I was stationed in GA. Not a fan of the bugs and snakes, but GA has some beautiful sites.

    Man, that's beautiful!

I have to disagree with Eggcelsior though. Spring, Summer and Fall are ALL better than winter. :) At least in the northern latitudes. No way I could handle summer in Mississippi!

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

  • Sorry, you misunderstood. I love living in GA. You're right, it's a beautiful state. And best of all, I can go outside all year without my eyeballs freezing! I can handle the cold in short stretches, but I'm not in for the long haul.

Believe it or not, we only get coldness in short stretches. On a nice sunny 30° day, you can get by with just a light sweatshirt.
I remember freezing my ass off in GA , but mostly I remember sweating my ass off. That place is so sweltering hot, I remember seeing steam coming off my body.

I love Wyoming.  I'd move that way in a minute if the wife would give the green light.

Oh sorry. Down here in New Orleans. It snows once or twice every several decades. Last decent amount of snow, where it stuck on the ground was 2004.
Here's my daughters enjoy the snow in 2004

@TigerTony‌, It's probably a good thing it doesn't snow there. When GA had a little bit of snow, everybody just left their cars on the freeway. I can't imagine what would happen in NOLA.

We actually don't get a lot of snow here. I'm sure someone from the NE is going to put up a picture of what snow looks like.

I loved the Spring Summer and Fall in Wyoming, but the winter is why I left.  I miss the open spaces and the lack of people, but the non stop winter wind.......

Nice scenery man.  I like the amount of snow we get every so often, but ready for it to leave though.

The one in the red scarf, the dark brown coat and the gray coat. The other two are my nieces.
This was taken on Christmas Eve 2004 at my FIL's house. The girls were so excited to see snow!

A friend of mine raised five girls and no boys.  His house was always in an uproar.  At least his were spread out ... couldn't imagine five daughters that close in age and what life would be like.  Good looking gals ... looks like they're a happy bunch.

ThankYou! I love my girls. A wife, three daughters, four grand daughters (all under the age of 4) and a female dog. I'm so happy to have two son-in-laws. I'm no longer the only guy in the family ;)
