How was your Sunday? Pic heavy
It has been an insane 6 weeks. I feel as though I haven't accomplished anything at home. Work has been busy, and evenings/weekends spent renovating parts of my 91 year old grandther's house to accommodate his return home from hip replacement surgery. Well today I was free, so I decided to get some things done while watching my Bills keep their (slim) playoff hopes alive by beating the Pack, who have still NEVER won a game in Buffalo.
First broke out e meat slicer to take care of some bacon that's been mellowing in the fridge since it was smoked. Cold smoked three pounds of almonds. 5 hours with my A-Maze-N smoker loaded with apple pellets. Brewed up a batch of Cream Ale to keg up for a new year ice fishing trip. Finally, used the baking steel to cook up some burgers. Hope your Sunday is going just as well!!

Greeno, what's the blade diameter of your slicer? I've shied away from belly bacon (I've done canadian bacon with success) because I didn't think my slicer was big enough to handle full bacon, but now I'm wondering...Everything looks fantastic, by the way!:-bd___________

@Botch - Mine is a 10". If you look at the picture of the sliced piles, you can see that I have to cross cut some to fit. I kind of wish I went with a 12", but I was already stretching budget with the 10. I am so happy with it though. I've been meaning to take a run at Canadian bacon.LBGE (2012), MiniMax (2014), and too many Eggcessories to list. - Sudbury, Ontario

@Little Steven Thanks LS. Your Leafs sure have been in fire. It must make you nervous though the the annual, 18 wheeler off the cliff moment. If only all seasons could be 48 game ones eh?LBGE (2012), MiniMax (2014), and too many Eggcessories to list. - Sudbury, Ontario
