OT - NHL Rivalry Week

Detroit & Toronto playing a "Home and Home" series this week. Tonight's game is at Detroit.  Two of the Original Six teams slugging it out!  It just don't get any better!  Red Wings just scored late in the 2nd.  1-0. I just got home in time to see it.  Good game, eh Steve?  Go Wings!

Tied at 1 each in the 3rd.  Reimer, the Leafs goalie, is playing really well and stymieing the Wings.

Turned out pretty well despite the Leafs best efforts to give away the points. 42 to 18.

Yeah, Reimer had a great game and stoned us.  I hope we return the favor in your building on Saturday.  I saw it's on HNIC.  I have a family commitment, but I hope to be home in time for Grapes.

Leafs played Calgary on Tuesday and that was a tough, fast game. You could see how slow they were yesterday. Too many back to backs this year. Leafs can look like the best team in the league on some nights and a bad beer league team the next

I'm a die hard Leaf fan, but boy did they get outplayed by Detroit last night. If not for Reimer, it could have easily been a blowout.

We get the Kings on Sunday but they are both home games cause they had to free up the arena for the world juniors over Christmas
