Not happy with pellet soot in my new toy uuni 2s pizza oven.
So I did this mod, works like a charm. Now I can wait till warmer weather to figure out how to eliminate the soot
This got me thinking ... won't it be fun to insert the burner into my L or XL, or the tandoor

I added a Flux Capacitor to my egg.

Stained wooden handles. Gave both Eggs' handles six or so coats of a water/poly blend. Looks great and protects it from the sun and rain (though the L also lives under a cover while the MM lives in the garage).
Not a mod per se, but I am a huge advocate of waxing my Eggs with car wax. Gives them a nice sheen while ensuring that water and grime roll right off. -
Hntnhrd....
Here is a set of PS Lifters I put together for my XL. As I said in the original post, I was not comfortable with the control of a one-piece lifter.

Wanted a split area for direct / indirect so I bought a kiln shelf from a pottery equipment supplier. Need to work on the spacer arrangement and want a shaped drip tray as well. Picked up a 16" full round kiln shelf to use as a pizza stone as well.

Every once in a while I would experience an air flow problem. My neighbor made a fire grate for me out of expanded metal. Air flow has never been a problem since.
The C brackets on the underside keeps the grate from moving with the ashes are stirred.

This is a very easy to make piece for raising the food grid. Great for direct cooks.

Here is a mod I just added to my wood table, I noticed a couple of small burn marks just outside my draft door...better safe than sorry.
