Texas Roadhouse Ribs

The wife brought home ribs from Texas Roadhouse, because I can't cook right now and she likes them. To me the were dry and overdone. She likes when they fall off the bone, but the way they do it they are dry. I like my ribs better. Mine have a good tug and come off the bone when you bite them not when pick them up. I ate these with a fork and extra sauce. I can't wait to egg again.

In college, my girlfriend(now wife) used to go to Outback and I would always get the chicken and ribs. Same situation. Who knows if they were dry but they were swimming in sauce and the bones slid out without resistance. Great time!

@Ladeback69-first up congrats on the post surgery postings and know you will be "back in the saddle asap!"  I'm sure you know (as I live) that the key to fall off the bone is foil.  Fortunately I only have to grovel with that deal with pork ribs-I get a hall-pass with the beef ribs, thus beef ribs get cooked on around a 5:1 ratio.  Hopefully SWMBO continues to not make the connection!  FWIW-

I get the Texas Roadhouse Rib Rub to use on steaks. Family loves it.

The ribs taste good, just dryer then I remembered. I didn't know you could buy their spices @Tjcoley‌.

    Rudy's!!

Recently Rudy's came to Phoenix.  I have a son that lives in the area.  ...after having their "wet" brisket (more than once) I "almost" wondered why I get up at midnight to do my own!!  ...Oh wait, I'm in San Diego and California has so many rules and regulations that a lot of great restaurants NEVER come here.

Rudy's is a Texas chain and it looks like the closest one to K.C. is currently in Ok City... but if you get a chance, check them out.

They sell the rubs at the restaurants. Usually pre packaged, but sometimes if the are out of the pre packaged the will put it in a to go container for you.
