2 pork butt cooking time

I have done 8-10 pound pork butts several times on my BGE with good results. My butcher (who has great meat) only has 8-10 butts. If I want to cook 2 8 pound butts do I cook at the time for a 8 pounder or do I increase to account for more meat in the smoker and if so how much longer.?

First, welcome to the zoo.

second they will cook the same as one 8# butt, but they can't touch and they will not necessarily finish at the same time.

As stated above cook them as just one 8 lb butt however that does not mean they will finish at the same time, I always start keeping and eye on them after the stall, I use a Mav. and once the alarm goes off at 185 I start checking them every 15/20 minutes until the bone wiggles free around 200/205 (this is for a low/slow 250 indirect dome cook), they will go fast after 185/190.
