    Sweet..... just about got the wife onboard so tomorrow I'm going to order it!! Surround sound is down the road but for now I'll just use my Bose sound link mini for sound

    All my tvs are Samsung.Don't bother with the extended warranty

  • Have bought 2 Samsungs in a row and very happy with both, but I would agree that the sound system is not the best. If you have the money I would also get a sound bar/surround sound to complement the picture. My $.02

  • Samsung and LG are the only ones I would buy. The panels are made in Japan or South Korea, all other brands are from China. No need to tell you the junk that comes out of china.

    We made the mistake of saving a few bucks and bought a no name brand for the wife sewing room at Sams. Lasted 3 weeks and went dead. Sam's amazing enough took it back with no box. Spent the extra $50 and got a Samsung. That was 2 years ago.

    The SK company that builds screens for LG also makes them for Toshiba.  But, it was a young salesman who pointed out to me that the Toshiba screens were glossy, and why I made my choice.
