I saw amazon is having a nice looking meat injector on deals of the day for $20. About 50% claimed so far.

Too late now,but I have one of those and while it is well made and strong I don't like it. Two reasons the hollow needle is huge and cuts a tube of meat in its path leaving a large hole to let the injected fluid out. OTOH the needle with the holes is very blunt and difficult to drive into the meat.
