If I showed my wife that picture she may never eat anything off my Eggs again. Looks delicious to me though.XL BGE, LG BGE, and a hunger to grill everything in sight!!!Joe- Strongsville, OH

I agree with @badinfluence and take your word. I have eaten it fried and breaded and it wasn't too bad but memory serves me it was a really rubbery texture like trying to eat a rubberband.

My daughter and I love it off the egg
They look great! I like to slice them in half or so and mix with grilled veggies & vinaigrette for a killer salad

Octopi get rubbery if overcooked, just like squid and shrimp.I've had it fried and breaded too, but never grilled. Sadly, I've never seen it here either...:(___________

Basscat how long did you leave them on or is there an internal temp? As said above, they can get tough if over cooked. Looks great from your photo.

I know when I've done them before... it was at around 450 direct for about 4-5min

Recipe I used had me blanche the critters in boiling water for about a minute, then rinse in cold water to stop the cooking, and put in marinade in the fridge for a few hours. Then on the Mini for about 3 minutes each side. I served them over pasta with a white wine, lemon and butter sauce, with a little garlic. They were not overcooked or rubbery at all.

Yes! I'd eat that (those? Themz?) good looking cook there. When I'm not Eggin', I'm scootin' Eggin' and 'cueing from Temecula Ca; an hour from San Diego, an hour and five minutes from Palm Springs, and an hour and a half from Los Angeles (yeah, right. With THAT traffic?)
