We are doing 2 butts on our large egg for the first time. Is there any difference in the temp or time?

    I have done as many as 4 and can't tell a difference on time or temp.

    Having multiple in there won't impact cook time, but each one can be unique and finish when it feels like it. So even though you may have 2 that weigh exactly the same, they may finish at different times or at exactly the same time.

    I cooked two butts from Publix on Friday with identical weight (about 5 pounds) at about 275. One finished in about seven hours, the other in about eight hours.
