Morning All:[p]On the way home this evening we decided to have some MEAT and corn on the cob, so we stopped at a couple of stores before we found a small bottom round roast and some ears of fresh corn. I prepped the corn by soaking in water for about 30 minutes (with husks still on) and the meat with a little EVOO and slight sprinkling of Dizzy Pig Cow Lick. After the corn soaked, we pulled the husks back and removed the silk, then pulled the husks back over the corn. [p]I got the medium up to 600+ and seared the roast for about 2 minutes per side while I had the corn on the large at about 300. After searing the roast, I moved it to the large.[p]P6030004.jpg[p]About 30 minutes later, I pulled off the husks to carmelize the corn.[p]P6030006.jpg[p]I also split the roast as it seemed to be taking a while to get up to temp. When the roast was done it was plated:[p]P6030007.jpg[p]and the final combo was delish!!![p]P6030008.jpg[p]There is enough roast left over for some wonderful "steak & eggs" in the morning.[p]Have a GREAT day!

Morning Salmon:[p]Yes it is a Cutco. Bought a set a couple of years ago from a friend of ours. Also got three others (I think a paring, a 6 incher and a 10 incher).[p]Have a GREAT day!
