beer can chicken wrapped in Bacon
I love the way I do beer can chicken....... what would a bacon wrap add to it? would I change the preparation in any way..... right now just season and cook

Maybe skin it first? I can't imagine the skin would crisp underneath the bacon, and this would give you bacon next to the flesh.

failed on the after pictures....... but main point.... Bacon tasted AWESOME...... soaked in the smoke and chicken flavors.... chicken itself did not taste as good as usual as we did not get the smoke flavor... it was juicy (er?) but beer can chickens are always pretty juicy..... mainly it was fun to see an entire chicken wrapped in Baconon to next weekend where we will try something else new.... or just have some steaks!

wellsy37 - how about using just a few bacon strips ??? drippings to help flovor but chicken still open to some taste from the charcoal ???Toledo, OHXL BGE (December 2014), 2 burner weber gas
