Cracked Placesetter, no response from the Mothership

Have a crack developing in my placesetter on my XL.  Spoke with my dealer (Garden Factory) and they said contact Big Green Egg directly.  I have sent them two emails so far and nothing.  Anyone else having a tough time getting a response from them?

From what I understand you will do better with a phone call.

Where are you located? Your dealer is the first point of contact and should have helped you.

The plate setter only has like a 5 yr warranty I believe. If you registered your egg or still have th ereceipt I would try a new dealer. BGE is not the right person to contact unless you live locally. The dealer should file a claim for you and get you a new plate setter either right then if they are a good dealer and have them in stock or on th eir next shipment from BGE.

My wife purchased this as a gift for me a couple of years ago from them.  The Mother Ship got back to me yesterday and is going to help me with the process.  I have since looked for other dealers in my area.  I plan on visiting a few as my egg family grows.

Just a shame when the dealer does not have the same passion for the product as you do as the consumer.

But great support from the factory helps
