what is the place setter for and how is it used? Thanks.

    A plate setter is a ceramic tiangle shaped item that fits inside the egg below the grill rack. It has three legs on it. If you invert the legs the plate I'm guessing 4 or so inches below the grill. The gill rack will sit on the three legs. This is used for inderect grilling and will hold a drip pan at the same time. If you convert the plate setter, it can be used for baking pizza or holding a pizza stone. If you own an Egg, it is a must to have a plate setter.     Yes, I've played golf for about 45 years, with about a 25 year break between a teenager and 40. Got down to a 9 handicap when I retired, but have since had arthritis problems.
