Restaurant Tables

Question.... Who out here was it that works in the restaurant industry that does the remodeling and refinishing of their tables??? The Habitat For Hanity Re-Store in my area has tables from a place that is completely renovating.... I'd like to know if these would be worth turning into an egg table top or not. They have about 100 tables for sale....

The first few things I'd check is what type of wood is it and is it solid of veneer. If it's veneer it won't hold up.

Ok @henapple‌, I'll check them out. I've got a friend who works there. I was thinking of getting 2 of the rectangular tops to use in an L-shaped table with the egg in the middle!

Mind if I bend your ear of they are solid wood???
