I really wish I could have added photos of some of the old homes in town. Just looking at them takes one back to a time when men dared to venture into the limitless opportunity of the area and succeed beyond their wildest dreams. Their homes are a reflection of their success.

And now they are lovingly maintained by those who appreciate their timeless beauty and charm.

It's a town where we could live.

As for the Jefferson Carnegie Library, what can I say? The building is beautiful and magnificent at the same time. Those who are entrusted with its care are special people indeed. Andrew Carnegie would be proud.

And those of us who were honored to be a part of this event will be there again next year and all years afterward. We hope you can join us.

What a wonderful video.  You deserve a rest, Spring Chicken.  Next year we are looking for beautiful weather so you can get pictures of the wonderful old homes here in Jefferson.  But one thing is for sure - rain or shine, EggHeads are a fun group to be with.
