Just Sold the Small to get the Mini Max!

@thetrim‌ i asked the same thing. I guess some lucky people got to take them to cook on for feedback. Who knows how you get on that list.

I know where 4 went. Most importantly one went with me to display at the Jack Daniels cookoff this weekend in Lynchburg, TN. They were not sold as demos

Where have you been? Kim, Susan and I have posted in different threads how great it is. It cooks like a small and comes up to temp like a mini. The firebox grate is the same as a large, so plenty of air flow. The dome is the same as the small so the capacity is the same.

I have the woo, stone and drip pan for the small should I sell it with the small or will it fit in the mini-max.

I don't have those accessories for my small so I can't give you an honest answer. Do you use those on top of the fire ring or with it out?

It looks like @Susan_Egglaine is using the Woo on the Mini MAx in one of her cooks here.

Jim--congrats.  Keep us posted on how it works.  And I certainly assume you will drag it along for Eggtoberfest next year!  Folks would love to see the green man group cooking on that too.   Greg

I could be totally wrong! but from someone that was at Eggtoberfest and cooking on a M M there were only 4 at the fest.

I just preordered the Mini Max at Roswell Hardware, $494 plus tax.

My dealer told me yesterday evening I could preorder before Friday for 525 including the mini max nest and plate setter. I'm running it by SWMBO and hoping she will get me one for Xmas.
