Giving a good listen to the Allman Brothers Fillmore 6 CD Box Set.  Picked it up this summer at the Big House Museum in Macon, GA.

Great night of listening to one of the best put together bands of all time, and unarguably, one of the best, most influential guitarists of all time.  BROTHER DUANE ALLMAN.  Cheers to my Egghead brothers and sisters.  The road does truly go on forever.

I've really gotten into govt mule as well. My wife on the other hand, not so much. I might get her to a tedechi trucks band concert though. :-??

On our family summer vacation to Florida hadto stop off at the Mothership and at the Big House so I could show some love. What a beautiful part of the country. I'll soon be back.

Govt Mule is playing this month at the Taft in Cincy. It's across the street from my office.  Gonna try to make that and Keb Mo in January.

Love the brothers. Said that Derek are Warren are leaving. I think that all but ends the touring. Greg didn't sound so good when I last saw them in 2012. Love some Liz reed, dreams, midnight rider, revival, high falls.

We've all been lucky to have Greg as long as we've had him.  He needs to rest them old bones and enjoy his remaining days.  Mother Allman is still around, so hopefully Greg still has some years left.  I'm sad that Derek and Warren are moving on, but they kept it going for as long as they did.  Got plenty of music to get through.  The history and memories will never fade!

Best live shows for a jam band. I agree he has already dodged a few bullets. Those guys filled in well after Duaneand Barry died and Dickey got the boot.
