@shtgunal3 how are you liking the Stihl? Is that model powerful enough? I bought a Husqvarna yesterday and am returning it because it won't stay idling it dies. Its either wide open or off pretty much and from reviews online it sounds like I need to pay to get the carb adjusted because it takes a special tool. Back to the store with it and time for a Stihl but now I am torn between the 56 and 86 models.

@lit after much research I got the echo. The thing is a beast and runs and starts flawlessly. Only reason I chose over stihl is because I bought a stihl weed wackier that hates to start. My .02

So far so good @lit. Starts easy and blows hard. I have two Stihl chain saws and have never had a problem with them either.

@lit also if you do buy the Stihl, ask the dealer about an extra year warranty. When I bought both my saws and the blower they had a deal where if you buy a six pack of the Stihl brand synthetic 2-stroke oil you get and extra year warranty for free.

When I bought this Stihl chainsaw they were promoting that angle so of course I agreed. Now did you know that Stihl is no longer even making that oil as it has been proven to be no better than any other synthetic oil. I guess customers also came to realize they were getting ripped paying $12 to $15 for just enough oil to treat 6 gal of gas. I still love my saw as well as my Stihl BR400 back pack blower! Talk about a great blower that thing can knock shingles off a house!
