Anyone using roasting blanket?

Hey guys, I saw this Poultry Perfection roasting blanket in my friend’s home. We have to cover the turkey in this blanket before you put it for roasting. It not only helps you in lifting up the turkey, it also makes sure that the flavor and moisture of the turkey is not lost while roasting. I am seeing this for the first time. Seems like a cool product. Have anyone of you used similar products?

@Eliza_White‌, do you use this in your egg? If so, why? Seems like an oven thing.

I suppose you could do the same thing with aluminum foil since it seems like the product is used to rest the turkey similar to what one would do with a pork butt. Kamados retain moisture so well that adjuncts like this aren't necessary.

I used to do turkeys in Reynolds oven bags. I found they just weren't necessary. They did make cleanup easier though.

Looks like when I used to oven turkeys in a buttered brown paper bag. No need in the Egg. And it would be a real bear to get a spatchedcocked turkey in it.
