I use my work tool. Fluke 62MAX & it's dead accurate for surface temping. I'm not familiar with the product you are inquiring about so I have no input sorry. The one I listed I believe it's sold on Amazon also. I bought mine at my wholesaler.

    Edit: Amazon does have it.

Excellent IR thermometer, I use mine for checking pizza stone temp and the temp of my GrillGrate. I believe this particular unit is on sale at ThermoWorks. It was a great buy at $49, $39 makes it even better. I've had mine about 12-14 months same battery and never an issue...Hope this helps

I have one & it works great. I used it when I was a workin stiff to help me diagnose diesel engine missfires & ect.

Not to get technical, but according to chemistry alcohol is a solution...

I like mine. Bought it for pizza. That model goes to 1000+ and I was at about 900. Don't go above 725 these days. Anyway, works well.

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

I ordered one up last night. This will fit in nicely with my Blackstone.
