Pickled chili peppers are NOT green beans

SWMBO decided to raid the pantry and break out the jar of pickled green beans that @shtgunal3‌ gave me during the great BBQ exchange of 2014. I hear her freaking out in the kitchen and went to check on what was going on. Needless to say we were having a good laugh and she was having a good glass of milk.

That's funny as hell brother! Sorry she thought they were green beans though.

She was really confused why someone would jar green beans, and then it all made sense. Worst part was that she dumped out all the liquid (in a bowl at least) to fish out the beans. I was able to salvage most of it, but some got lost. I topped it off with vinegar though so I'll let it sit some more.

My wife pickles Thai Chilis all the time. No way to confuse them with green beans though thank goodness (maybe baby ones)

I wish I knew about those candied jalapeños earlier when our pepper plants were going crazy. I found some recipes that looked promising. Next time.
