Taking BB Ribs to Hospitality Suite for local event

Hi all!  I did a search, but didn't find this question asked before....

I'm already making Meatballs for this event, but want to possibly take the ribs also since they've been such a big hit with everyone who's had them.  But I'm not sure on the best way to serve them?  Do I put them in a rectangular foil dish or put them in a crockpot?  They may sit for a while between groups,  so I wasn't sure if they would even be a good choice? I know I can get them to the place hot, but what to do with them once they get there to keep them hot as different groups pass through....

 Thoughts?  Thank you!!

Car Wash Mike had a great suggestion that may work....  Not sure why the thread didn't show on my earlier searches?   Anyway, wanted to share for anyone else with a similar question.

I take food to work frequently and have the same issue.

My solution is to take an electric skillet/griddle with me. Put the meat in a disposable aluminum container. Cover it with foil and set it on top of the skillet, which I set to about 170 or so.

The heat of the skillet is enough to keep the food warm without cooking it further.

Sam's or Costco sell the catering trays cheap. Keeps it warm and looks ok.

I've had a lot of success with this method.....

1. wrap a couple of bricks in foil...bake @ 400 for an hour or so

2. line bottom of cooler with an old towel & place bricks in, cover with towel

3. put you heated BBQ & sauce in ziplock bag..wrap in foil....put cooler

4. put one or more towels on top (the more insulation the better)

It'll keep everything nice a hot for a good 4 hours or so....GL
