Frozen filets - first attempt

Saturday, I broke four 6-7-oz filets out of the freezer and seared top & bottom in a pan on the stovetop. Then it moved them over to the Egg at 275 indirect. I have a photo of how they turned out... at least, half of one of them. I first pulled them at 130 internal temp, and my wife's family all cried that they weren't done. So I threw them back on until 140 internal. They were still quite red around the circumference, on the non-seared areas... I think that was the main reason the in-laws were apprehensive. Lesson learned... next time, I'll sear them all over. Taste was good. Not significantly better than fresh, but good enough that I'll try it again.
