I went off the large table dimensions from bge so the large cover would fit it. Well it fits but not as well as Id like. The egg sits a little high and the cover is about 6 inches short on height. And Ive also found the weight limits on one set of casters. lol... all my neighbors give me **** for going overboard on this thing but from what Ive seen on here they havent seen anynthing yet!!

Very nice and I will echo the 'Happy Egging'.
Don't fret the neighbors too much.. they are just jealous

Very nice looking table. The neighbors won't think you are going overboard when they taste some of the food that comes off of it.XL BGE, LG BGE, and a hunger to grill everything in sight!!!Joe- Strongsville, OH

Great looking table. It looks like the egg is sitting on a metal shelf...or is that just some sort of wrap or flashing? Either way it looks cool and it will make cleaning the ash stains easier!Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

Yes, the shelf under the egg is wrapped with stainless along with an inlaid piece of stainless on the top for carving or hot stuff, and stainless panels in the doors and sides.

Very nice table. Only worry for me is the gap between your egg and table is pretty small. The heat from the side of the egg can ignite the table. I have seen several other posts where their table caught on fire from too small of a hole and a couple years ago it happened to me after a pizza cook. If you have the ability to make the hole a little bigger I would.

Very nice build. Oak? Heart pine?

That Sir is a very nice table. I would like to build something very similar. Is that Oak? It looks awesome!

I used Red Oak and two Butcher block table tops from menards, also Red Oak. I thought it seemed a little tight around the egg after I dropped it in. It actually has about 3/4 in. clearance around it. I will definitely address this and thanks for pointng this out.

glue a radiant barrier around the inside of the hole and you'll be fine.
