Transporting the Small

It has been discussed here about hauling eggs so I thought I would show how I used wood shims to separate the pieces inside the egg. Back seat wasn't an option so she got strapped down in the bed of the Tacoma. Maybe this will help someone in their future egg travels

Good idea!I hauled my Small to my barbeque contest this last Spring. Because I had to lift it into my Tacoma by myself, I took the innards out, and actually set them against the Egg and secured everything with tiedown straps. Even disassembled, using wood slats like you did would've been a great idea. Thanks!

I took my from here (little rock) to floriday in the back of my truck. It was EXACTLY the same height from floor to underside of my bedliner as the egg. I just wrapped a ratchet strap around it and ratched it down. Made it there and back with no issues.

No doubt I was a nervous nanny but it took all of 5min to make sure I didn't have ceramics rattling against ceramics. I left it in the nest and strapped it down.-----------------------------------------analyze adapt overcome2008 -Large BGE. 2013- Small BGE and 2015 - Mini. Henderson, Ky.
