Turbo Butt ?

Butt is at 183, raised grid is at 374 and we are wanting to eat at 4:30. Should I wrap or ride it out? I could pull at 185 for sliced pork.

Wish I could help. Sounds like you need @SGH or @NPHuskerFL ...

I'm guessing you are not in the Eastern Time Zone with a 4:25 post...how much time are you looking at to bring this home?Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

An hour. I'm thinking of letting it ride, at 185. I will check in other areas for temp in 30. Central time zone.XL, WSM, Coleman Road Trip Gas GrillKansas City, Mo.

Let her ride!

I'd let it roll. At this point you can bump to 400° if you don't think you'll make it.

That's what I thought, now. I'm at 387 now. I have two on and this is the smaller of the two. Smells wonderful. ThanksXL, WSM, Coleman Road Trip Gas GrillKansas City, Mo.

I would dial up the BGE to the 350-400*F area if you only have a bit less than an hour and pulled pork is your end goal. However, you are correct in that you are in the slicing window now so it will all be just fine whichever route you take. FWIW-Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. I would personally ride it out unless it is detrimental to be complete at a particular time. And in that case I'd bump up the temp to 400 or so and still leave uncovered. I've personally never done a turbo anything. I prefer L&S. In any case I've been known to bump the temp at the finish line to meet time requirements.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL
