Repair for chip in bottom section of large egg

I have a chip in the front lower section of my large egg. it is is the area where the front pin of the lower ring sets in. Anyone know if this is covered under warranty or can it be repaired

I called Bruce at BGE warranty department about the chip, I sent them a picture of the damage and they approved a warranty replacement!BGE has the best warranty in the world!! It is also the best cooking implement I own!
