New Neighbor Wants Help With Gasser

Celebrated our 7th house (6yrs in this one) in 25 yrs this weekend. Been pissing and moaning this is the worst hood we've been in. Neighbors all nice folk...jes don't do nuthin'. Then tonight, our new neighbors what just built behind us came over to intro theyselves...Oh, Lawdy, I don't remember how to talk to a neighbor who just comes over![p]Then he tells me, his new outdoor kitchen with the biggest built-in S.S. gasser I ever seen didn't come with an owner's manual.[p]Here's the dilemma: Do I teach him how to be a gasser, or do I tell him gassers are the evil of all things and he needs to get an Egg before he and all of his will surely pass on to all that is condemned in eternity? WDAN,
teach him how to burn stuff on the gasser, then invite
him over for some real Q. that'll fix it.

WDAN,
Buy him a bag of marshmellows and give him a rack of ribs from the egg.

WDAN, Let me see if I can help in terms your neighbor might understand. [p]Well you know der once yet, that der gasser is a might big. Ach, you should take back once and get an egg, yet. She cooks the best food in the Valley, too, don't you know. [p]Ex Fondy guy, LOL, Tom

WDAN,
I dunno. Being the nice guy I am, I would try to help him with recipes, smoke box suggestions, etc. Then invite him over for some dinners of various cooking styles to show off the versatility of the BGE. Then maybe you'll have a convert behind you who sells his outdoor kitchen in the next yard sale. I've just found that flies prefer honey. ;~)

WDAN,
i would teach him how to heat up some of the lechon asado you make on the egg. show him how easy he can heat it up on a gasser.
last year at the street party, my rich snooooty neighbor brought the biggest ss gasser ive ever seen to make hamburgers and hotdogs. i brought the pulled pork and a few crocks of beans. he must of eaten 4 plates of beans and pork while doing the cooking.the things worth a few grand and ive only seen hamburgers and hotdogs come off it, but it does look fancy
fukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it -
Hey Everyone,[p]I think you all may be going over the edge just a tad. I have a nice gasser and an egg. I have found the gasser is GREAT at keeping the food that I cook on my egg nice and warm while I cook something else on my egg.

Be nice to the guy and give him any help he needs. But invite him over for some egg food and either he will realize how good the egg is or think your a BBQ god. Either way you win.;) [p]
