Long time no post - OT, but still good! Sous Vide Filet Mignon... :)

Hey folks,

Long time, no post... Work has been crazy! Anywho, I had time to pull out the Anova Sous Vide cooker the other night. Black Pepper crusted Filet Mignon with Parmesan Roasted Broccoli and baked potato slices. Steaks were pan seared in cast iron after they came outta the bath. Here are the results:

One of the many reasons I love my Anova!

Until next time,
Josh

What temp did you use for the sear? I was using full out smoking pan heat but have been questioning that lately.  Yours looks perfectly browned.

    Hey, @thatgrimguy

I used a smoking pan... Stove was on Med-High and I used grape seed oil. Wifey was giving me a hard time until she took the first bite. Next time, I think I will light the EGG and use the cast iron on it. Keep all the smoke outside.  :)
