Is this the real deal or not

Ok so this weekend we went to a long time family friends of my wife's. When we stopped by we found out that she had been put into an assisted living facility and that the family was cleaning out the house to sell it. There was a pile of yard sale stuff in the garage and I found some castiron skillets. There were two griswolds and a couple Wagner pans. They gave me one to have it is a 10.5 inch chicken cooker. My question is this a Griswold from Eire PA? I looked online and there were no image markings that matched this one. Anyone have any ideas? Thanksimage

I took it and will use it. I was just trying to find out if it was a griswold made in Erie PA or is it a knock off. There also was a griswold 8 model 704d skillet. I may still try to get that also. She had a 3,4,6,8, and 10 skillets. Most were Wagner skillets. Except the two #8's. I opted for the #8 chicken fryer which was a much deeper skillet and I thought I would get more use from it on the egg.

I would ofer to buy the whole lot. if they are in a yard sale pile they can't be expecting much for them, just buy them all.

It's post 1960s since it had made in USA on it.. Not sure if it's a knock off or not, but put it to use!

I still may buy all of them. If i do i will offer a fair price as they are very good family friends and the proceeds are going to fund her stay in the assisted living facility. Before they gave me the one pan I told them they should not accept any low offers as they were quality cast iron.

Put it this way, if you were to buy a 5 piece set new, you'll be spending around $100 for Lodge. I don't know what the lot consists of, but it may very well be a good use of $50 give or take.

Griswold was purchased by Wagner(too long of a story to get into), with the Erie manufacturing plant closing in 1957.  Markings really changed during that time period.  Some pieces would have both Wagner and Griswold logos stamped since Wagner owned the patents.

As mentioned, "Made in the USA" dates this post 1960.

You have a Griswold marked Wagner pan manufactured in Sydney, Ohio.

@Firemanyz‌ I hope you didn't take my comment the wrong way. I didn't in any way mean that you should low ball anyone. I only meant that if it were all to go in a yard sale they wouldn't be getting much for it. I would come up with a fair offer and buy it all though. Good, seasoned cast iron pans are awesome cooking tool used inside or on the grill!

@georges all is good I would love to get them for dirt cheep as I am a deal seaker. But I know where the money is going and plan to come up with a very fair price to buy them. I will post pics when I get them.

@focker thank you very much for the info you gave me is what I was not able to find online. I found the info and discription of markings up until 1957 and that Wagner bought griswold. But not much past there.

Thanks to everyone for the info.
