Just finished rehab...

I finally finished rehabbing a beat up used BGE table I picked up for $50.00. It was weather beaten, stained and in general awful condition. The guy wanted $100.00 for it but I got it for $50.00. I took it home and pressure washed it real good. Then I poured bleach on it and put it in the hot Fla. sun for a day. Then pressure washed it again. The wood was very light after the bleaching and all the stains were gone. Next I stained it with a few coats of Min-Wax Red Mahogany I had laying around. When that was dry I cleared it to protect it from the elements. My LBGE sits on a table nest which is on a 18"x18" piece of tile for added stabilization for the table nest. I think it turned out pretty nice for a $50.00 investment.

Job well done and for a great price as well! I always love it when somebody sells or discards something thinking it has no value or little eye appeal and it is picked up by a person who makes the ugly duckling into a desirable and useable piece like you did!

It's not bad if you remove the dome and and the fire ring, I placed my large in the table by myself. It sucked but it's doable...The Gator Nation, Central FloridaLARGE & MINI Life is good...GO GATORS!!!
