Getting Creative Tonight!
Tonight the weather was so nice, I decided I wanted to try something new. I took my chicken breasts and butterfly cut them and stuffed with mozzarella seasoned with Italian seasonings and some smoked ham. Going to cook them at 350. First though, I put on some new potatoes, squash, and onions in aluminum foil to cook. If all else fails, I enjoyed the evening with a cold beverage cooking on my egg.

Ok. Just put them on. Here goes nothing. I decided to put them on a pan to keep the cheese from melting and dripping on my plate setter.LBGE, Suwanee, Ga

Sounding good so far. Did you terrorize (tenderize) the breasts before &/or after butterflying? Just curious. Will look for your completion pics.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL

Thanks! Yes, I did tenderize them just prior to stuffing them after I cut them.LBGE, Suwanee, Ga -
I've never stuffed a breast. Although a stuffed breast undoubtedly has to be juicier.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL

Thanks guys! It was tasty. The family really liked it. They love being my testers. The cake has been on about 40 minutes and doesn't even look close to being done. I upped the temp a little, but I'm not sure about this one.LBGE, Suwanee, Ga

Did you line the dutch oven with parchment paper or something? Looks like it in the photo.L x2, M, S, Mini and a Blackstone 36. She says I have enough now....eggAddict from MN!

@minniemoh Yes, it is lined with parchment paper. We do that for baking cookies or cake. I did a cobbler and did not line it and it turned out good too. Just makes for easier clean up.LBGE, Suwanee, Ga

Never done a cake on the egg. Good idea on the parchment paper. Only baking I've done on the egg is cornbread. Thanks for the tip.Your chicken looks great too. Nice cook.L x2, M, S, Mini and a Blackstone 36. She says I have enough now....eggAddict from MN!
