Very Expensive Table!

I love the table, but the price is sky high!

Meh...IMO, that's a lil overthought. Don't like it all. Lots of craftsmanship though.

Yeah that's way high. Cedar is nice though. My top is out of rough cut 1.5" cedar. Rest is pressure treated. I would think more in the 1000-1500 range. I wouldn't expect anyone to pay more than 700-800 for what I built

Nice craftsmanship. But, $3,700 would be a bit high. That and is this an egg table or a headboard? Looks out of place IMHO.

I could do without the headboard, but I love the way the actual table part looks. I am a sucker for stained cedar.

I would want one that nice. It would look like hell after about 6 months of me abusing it. When I finally build my table it will be stainless.

I did build it. Two coats of spar urethane and two flood coats of epoxy to keep the cedar from graying. Thanks for the compliments.

Some folks prefer wood for it's natural warmth and beauty. I prefer SS and it is super easy to keep clean and will be here for a very long time not to mention it won't catch fire when hot (and yes it can get mighty hot under the FL sun which is why I normally use a umbrella in the on-board holder or our pop-up). It's definitely a personal preference thing though. Whatever the choice is it makes the eggperience fun. :-)

I agree with husker. It gets hot down south here. I used the cedar bc I had it and it looked nice. Polished stainless would be a nice touch also. I am a fabricator and I am a fan of metal craftsmanship.

That's one of the coolest looking tables I've seen. In the mean time I'll keep looking for that one tree that grows money....

I would but cedar that thick is kinda hard to come by. That was taken directly off a sawmill. Not purchased from anywhere.
