Great Testimonial!

Hey All, this might be a "table" topic. My XL is in a stainless steel cart. I've been real meticulous with it an have had battles trying to keep it clean and spotless. After several grocery brand cleaners, I picked up a can of Sheila Shine when I was at ACE Mart Restaraunt Supply. Holy Moly! This stuff is magic! Just a dab on a cloth nearly cleaned my whole table. This stuff is scary good! I kida second guessed my decision to go SS until I found this stuff.

Also, I'm cooking two 2.5 lb brisket flats today to dirty it up a bit! :D

If using an iPhone to take pics, make sure the home button is in your right hand and your pics will post correctly every time.

Is that table from Tim at Outdoor Kitchen Equipment?

Thinking about one of these myself.

Didn't think SS would be hard to care for..what winds up happening to it (before you clean?)

Do the things in the drawers and cabinet part stay reasonably dry?  (Wondering how waterproof / water resistant they are).

    Thx..

I have the same cart for my XL and the drawers and cabinet both stay good and dry. Mine is out in the weather and I have never had water in it. I keep my charcoal and a radio in it.

    Thanks Shtgunal3.

SmokyBear, I bought this through Premier Grilling and they price matched an online special that BBQ Guys was running this past Spring.

What's happens with the SS?  is shows dirt and streaks from the grease, grime, dust and smoke. Granted, I am and anal-retentive SOB.  So, others might not think it's a big deal, you know?  That said, a quick wipe down with the Sheila Shine makes it look brand new!  No scrubbing, no elbow grease.  This stuff effortlessly brings it to a shine by barely even going over it.  The can reads that it cleans all kinds of stuff, not just SS.  Knowing how far it goes, this can should last a long time...

I have been real pleased with the build quality of the table.  Not even sure of the brand...  I know they are build out in CA. and had to ship to TX.  Never have had a moisture problem with rain, sprinklers etc.  Spots on the SS show up though.  Sheila fixes that little issue!

According to their website, Sheila Shine is not safe for food prep surfaces. http://www.sheilashineinc.com/faqs/
  • I'm going to get some of that Sheila Shine for my SS fridge.  It has what appears to be water stains on the bottom 8" of the bottom drawer.  Thanks for the tip!!

Any specific location in CA? I'm looking for one but would rather not have it shipped.

@r8rs4lf - not sure where is CA.  BBQ Guys ordered it in.  They might know about the point of manufacture.

Also, I think this table is a "perfect" size for my needs.  Collapsable sides are nice (one with a removable cutting board), plenty of storage, easy to move around and well-built.  When I was shopping around, I came across many more expensive models that didn't seem to offer much more than this one.

I have no idea, but it is scary how well it works.  The label says it works great on all kinds of things:  stainless steel, porcelain, brass, "LEATHER" of all things.  Not sure about trying that, but it is like magic in a bottle with SS.

Interesting enough, I tried a little on some All-Clad cookware that had some grease and oil baked on the outside and it didn't hardly work at all.  I used a magic eraser to scrub that stuff of and with a little effort it came off.  I don't know what's in those little magic eraser sponges, but they too are amazing.

Again, a little Sheila Shine goes a long way.  A light dose on a clean cotton cloth made the whole BGE cart look new.  It lasts a long time too!!!
