TBO its looks like crap. not the original daisy wheel, Medium egg in what looks to be a Large Nest, bottom vent cover and screen completely missing (how are you supposed to regulate it or shut it down?), Grill grate has a broken crossmember sticking up, firebox is cracked (even though he does have a new one on the way, Bonus I guess), and I can almost guarantee you that if that much is out of order, what does the gasket look like? My bet is that you would probably put another $150 into it just to get it in decent shape.

Decent find if you get it for about $200. any more than that and I would wait a few weeks until some poor sap puts his up on craigslist because he never uses it! thats where you will find your deals. Search within about a $75-100 mile radius from your home. you will be surprised at what you will find. Sometimes the deal is worth the drive.

There is no gasket on it and wrong size nest looks like its for a LBGE. May even have a cracked base. Kinda scary looking...

If you look closely it does appear to have the lower (older style) steel vent. The older egg vents were black in color. Hard to see but there. It also looks like it still has the crappy felt BGE gasket on it but probably still functional. I would personally sell the large nest for $50 and save some money on the asking price. The band on the egg looks to be more recent. It also looks like you get the ceramic pizza stone with it. Plus with the new fire box it's a pretty good deal if you can pick it up just shy of $300. I'd be all over it if I was closer.

I'm in the area and wouldn't "be all over it". Too many ifs w/ no warranty.

Here's a decent buy and there are several more in surrounding areas on CL. I'm set w/ my LG and soon to be delivered Max. For me the extra paid to get the warranty is worth the expense.

I absolutely agree with the warranty but when a mini/nest is pushing 4 bills a used medium doesn't look like that bad of a deal. Especially if you can pick it up for a couple hundred bucks.
