Newbie Attending the Stone Mountain, GA Eggtoberfest

My husband and I plan to attend this years Eggfest in Stone Mountain, GA. Do we just reserve our hotels or do we need to purchase some kind of tickets to get into the Fest as well? We just want to walk around and see what people actually cook and maybe get some of our questions answered regarding temp control, etc. Do we need to purchase entry tickets to just walk around and ask questions? If so, how do we purchase tickets.

I've never been, wanting to go myself this year.  Tomorrow is when tickets go on sale.  I believe attendees are required to buy a general admission ticket.

Debating going this year myself.. if anything, only because it's less than 30-35 minutes away.

Knowing the area, but not the set up for the event, how friendly is it for a side-by-side stroller? I've got twin boys and would have to bring them.. they'd eat too!

Consider yourself fortunate to be so close.  Last year was first year at this venue--set up is in humongous parking lot with aisles of eggs.  Aisles plenty wide so you would be fine.  Also, shaded tents with seating provided to take a break when you need to.

Its a good venue, last year the hotel was at the meet and greet which was convenient, but the eggfest was across the park.  Lots of room, lots of food to try!  Tickets are a must ahead of time.
