Great morning for Egging!

Good morning all!

Heading to a 5-year-old's birthday party today and got work late last night that MIL does not want the hot dogs or burgers that they are serving at the party house.  I was asked to make her some chicken.

Been sitting outside since 6AM in 70 degrees getting the egg going and prepping for some chicken.  With such short notice, it was still frozen from the deep freezer in the garage..... oh well!  

Set-up indirect, oven-style to start the cook, then dropped it to the grate direct to get some grill marks.....

Only problem is that I'll have to use a gasser to heat it back up for lunch!!!!  You can't win them all!

70 degrees? What a luxury! Enjoy the cook in that glorious weather!

Nothing like taking your own tuck to the party..A gasser does have its uses..Have a great day, it is 66 degrees in Greensboro NC this morning, also enjoying being outside.

It's beautiful out this morning. Just got a mop chop so I cruised with the windows down on the long way home.

Happy Birthday to the 5 yr old. Those parties are so much fun. Lots of excitement. It is nice that you can help out with the eats too. When you get asked, then you are doing something right. Enjoy the day. 72* in GWN. Loving the weather too.
