Newbie from Texas

So I am totally new to the Egg world but have gathered a lot of information from this site over the past couple weeks as I was preparing to embark on this journey.  Yesterday I became an authorized dealer for the BGE yet I have yet to cook on one!  (Still debating which one I will personally take home!)  May sound odd to some but after reading, talking with people I knew who had one and a friend who is a dealer, I decided it was time to just go with it.  I want to give all of you a big THANK YOU for your information you share.  It is cool to be able to go to a place to gather such valuable information, as well as a wide variety of opinions.  

So I will be around gathering information here at first, sharing some experiences, and hopefully later will be providing knowledge of my own.

I will try and make it down next March for sure.  Of course it will all depend on my kids and their crazy schedules!!!  Thanks for the invite!

From one Texan noob to another, welcome. I had never even operated a grill before May of this year. This last weekend, I served 20 people and six kids. The BGE is awesome, but the forum and support from its members is the coolest part. 

Oh, and reverse sear. Forever.

If I owned a store I would put an iPad/laptop with this forum and the other forum easy to pull. Let potential customers see the hand holding they are provided for that high dollar investment.
