Help With Large Egg Top

Hello Folks,

I was hoping someone could give me some pointers on how to adjust the top on my large BGE.  When the lid is closed, the be has an underbite...the base sticks out a bit more than the top.  I'd say by about a 1/2 inch or so.   Also, when I open my top, the first two or three inches of travel feel normal, but then the top sort of rocks to the right and then back to the left as I lift it all the way up (fully open).  That right-to-left shudder is kind of rough feeling and I think it's getting worse.  I'm worried that it may lead to something bad if not addressed.  This coupled with the underbite makes me thing I need to adjust the top.  Any ideas?  Anyone else ever had this?

Thanks!

Are your bands tight enough? Sounds like they may be slipping, if it's moving like that when you lift the lid.

After doing what @calik says just cook on it. If it's tight all is fine. It will cook just fine
