Here are my two headaches, er I mean contributions to this thread This is my third Delorean, around 90% restored, and an old VW bus that we rent out as a photo booth. Both are tons of fun.

@RRP. Ron, I can ask my colleagues in the classic car biz to see if there's a register or sales records with your vehicle's info. I also have a friend who used to work for me as our Group Security Chief and he knows a lot about vehicle registration and theft (he was with Dallas PD for many years). He's also a car buff - has a 98 point GTO Judge!

I have a 1965 Chevrolet C10 Short bed waiting for a guy to get it worked in.  Has a mildly built 350 now with a four in the floor.  This was my Dad's.  He passed when I was 10 years old in 1991.  My Mom gave this truck to me when I turned 16.  It needed work then it sat after he passed.  I have never driven that truck, but looking forward to taking it for a spin along with my new daughter. 

My brother has a 1967 GTO, black vinyl top with 400 small block with four in the floor.  My dad bought it brand new in 67 with 19 miles on it.  It needs to be worked over now.  Sitting in primer now with the engine out.

@RRP I am a truck driver. I own the truck and have a pretty good run that I do weekly.

i could put antique plates on every vehicle i own.

1970 1 ton chevy welding truck
1971 toyota fj40
1972 chevy c30 ramp truck
1985 1 ton ford welding truck,
1989 dodge dakota convertible
 i know most dont consider them antique but driving them sure feels like it

my new truck bought in 89

Waiting to have my 59 Nash Metropolitan convertible delivered to Dallas for minor restoration.  Will be fun 4th of July parade car!

Thanks, me too!  That is why of the 45--50 vw bus' ive owned over the past 10 years, its the only one I have kept for more than a year.  Ive had it 5 years this month.
