One more grill into the fold....

So some of you know I have a Primo XL and love it (don't hate now).  But come the fall I'll be getting a large egg to work in conjunction with it.  Yep...I'll be a 2 grill house hold now!

Long story short.  We are doing a major bathroom remodel, when we walked in the contractor's show room we discussed that they had an Large BGE giveaway with "Sunroom" purchase.   Once I whittled the guy down to where I could tell he was beginning to get uncomfortable on going much lower with his price, I said "Throw in the Egg and you've got a deal."   We shook hands, signed papers,  and they'll deliver the day they finish the job.

So I'm all in on ceramic grills now, and perfectly happy that way....well, it could have been an XL though 

Now I need to get the SWMBO (also an architect) to design me that outdoor kitchen........hmmmmmmm, that may be a while

The double whammy....Master and Hall bath remodel.   House built in 72.   We bought in 08.  Both baths are dated and the showers are leaking.  Was a necessity....but we'd been saving....so 31K later, I'll be getting 2 baths and an extra grill.  

I'm really happy I came away with something extra...made me feel like a winner.  Tried to get him to go to 29K, but I could tell he thought his boss would tell us to find a disreputable contractor to get a price lower than 30K.  So I figured...take the Grill w/ nest and "wings" and pay the guy 31K....what's an extra thousand bux at that point?
