Local Brews and BBQ fest

Been waiting for a couple of weeks for our local Brews and BBQ fest as the advertising and signage had BGE all over it. Paid for a couples combo to sample the brews and received our glasses. Told SWMBO that this is gonna be good as BGE is even on the glasses so there must be several people using BGE's. What a disappointment when we walked into the venue. Not only was there not a single BGE in sight there were only 2 true BBQ pits serving food. The rest were your typical "fair" type vendors. Which I am a sucker for fair food but disappointed to say the least. The high light of the event was the fact there were a lot of really good micro brews served and they tasted better served in the glass with the BGE on it.

That's part of the problem with BBQ fests/competitions around me. They never serve anything except funnel cakes and what not.

Where was this event held?

Billings, Montana. I know light years away from being a BBQ Mecca but I was hopeful.

I have been to Billings before a LONG time ago. I would have been just like you. If there were Big Green Eggs on the flyers and glasses of course any logical person would have come to the same conclusion you did!
