First BGE Experience!!
Just have to share (brag?) about my first BGE experience. I decided chicken would be good starter as I've done them a lot on a spit with lump charcoal. Started with two whole chickens seasoned with a local Croation chicken rub a little Webber Kickin' Chicken and a couple of Summer Shandy's for the chef.
Did have a bit of a problem adjusting the temp at first but got it under control Started with a temp of 350 and then increased to about 400 as they weren't
getting brown enough. Flavor was very similar to the spit method, but I've never had roast chicken as juicy as this. Also, probably not news to most of you,
Glad makes a 16" disposable pizza pan that makes a perfect drip pan for the lg egg. So, thanks to all of the great folks and information provided on this forum.
