My Table "Nest"

Well, I posted a thread for my table cover previously, and now I have pics for the table. This is a custom table made by local cabinet maker. I gave him the details I wanted in the table, and he drew it up and built it, stained it, and poly coated it. Actually, the sample table pic I started with was just that, a table. But, I decided I really needed drawer space, with all of the accessory stuff that is desirable for use with these eggs, some of which I have, or have coming already. So, I specified 3 drawers, all decent size with one being very large. Actually, I did see another custom table here somewhere that gave me the incentive for the drawers. A feature (my idea) that I really like on my table are the long stainless steel bar drawer handles. I do like the look they give to the table!
Anyway, this is a pretty simple table, but I believe it will function well for what I need when it comes to doing the cooking!! This table is 64 1/2" L X 25 1/2" wide X 36" tall.

Thanks guys!!Just fyi, the bottom drawer on the right is large enough for a 10 lb bag of lump put in there long-ways front to back. Then there is still room there for my plate-setter and considerable other stuff. That is one big drawer. Actually, I do intend to make a measurement for a plastic type of container with lid to put in the drawer to best keep the charcoal.....the charcoal bags have a tendency to leak the black dust.

Hi Debbie! ) Peace of mind is always important!! I was originally going to use a BGE table nest, but most everyone suggested I should use the concrete type blocks.This is what BGE says on their website: "A concrete paver block or granite tile is often used to support the EGG when used in a table or built-in. If not used in conjunction with a Table Nest, it is recommended that these be stacked at least 3” thick for proper heat protection".Another thing BGE says: "FOR MAXIMUM HEAT PROTECTION, IT IS BEST THAT A GRANITE TILE AND A METAL TABLE NEST BE USED IN COMBINATION, particularly if EGG is routinely used for long cooks or high temperature cooking and is placed over a wood surface".My block is not 3", but neither is any other I have seen! As I remember, the BGE table nest is pretty cheap to buy anyway.
